VASA held a very successful annual meeting this year- if you missed it you missed a good one. We had a special guest speaker, Justin Lilly from Tread Lightly! speak about his organization and the benefits it could bring to VASA. Bruce Durkee will remain our President for another term, and the membership approved a fee increase effective for the 2013 riding season.

We've been keeping very busy here at the office- 2012 membership material will be disbursed to the local clubs in February and will then be available for purchase. Make sure you check your registration to make sure its valid so you can get your Trail Access Decal and be ready to ride.

Keep an eye on your mailboxes! We'll be working on a newsletter in February for you and you should see it in your mailbox by March.

Don't forget to visit us on facebook!

CVATV 3rd Annual Scavenger Hunt was a huge success.

A big thank you goes out to all of the local businesses who donated. Along with all the volunteers, Club Members, and Guest who participated. With a turn out topping well over 100.

It was decided by CVATV's core members that 100% of the proceeds, from the Scavenger Hunt, would be donated to the community of Stockbridge Flood Victims.

On November 23rd with many schools closed due to our first snow storm of the season, Our Club President Tom Crawford, delivered the check in person to the Town Clerk of Stockbridge, Cathy Brown. She accepted With Much Gratitude, as her very own office was relocated to what used to be an old Diner. Do to the Devastation of Tropical Storm Irene. Now with nothing more than a fold out table for her Desk. She was Pleased to see the Generosity of the CVATV Club!!!

In addition proceeds from the 50/50 raffle was donated to The Local Vermont Food Bank. A check was delivered by our club Treasurer-Alice Poulin, and our club Secretary-Nina Witham.
