Please consider bringing a nonperishable food item and/or a gift for a child. It could be toys (in good condition), warm hats, gloves, mittens, scarfs, etc. Don't forget baby items and dog/cat supplies are always needed. Thank-you! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Birdseye Mountain ATV Club and the Castleton 1st Responders participated in a mountain rescue practice drill on Birdseye Mountain in Castleton/Ira, Vt.
The volunteer 1st Responders need 48 hours of hands on training per year to maintain their certification.
Joining with Birdseye Mountain ATV Club enabled both organizations to get valuable training experience in a mountain rescue situation.
Both organizations plan to jointly train together in a variety of rescue scenarios.
BMAC encourages communities to actively support their 1st Responders however they can. Birdseye Mountain ATV Club News
