Welcome To VASA!
VASA held a very successful annual meeting this year- if you missed it you missed a good one. We had a special guest speaker, Justin Lilly from Tread Lightly! speak about his organization and the benefits it could bring to VASA. Bruce Durkee will remain our President for another term, and the membership approved a fee increase effective for the 2013 riding season.
We've been keeping very busy here at the office- 2012 membership material will be disbursed to the local clubs in February and will then be available for purchase. Make sure you check your registration to make sure its valid so you can get your Trail Access Decal and be ready to ride.
Keep an eye on your mailboxes! We'll be working on a newsletter in February for you and you should see it in your mailbox by March.

DPRR Annual Meeting! ~~~ Saturday March 26 at the Sheffield Municipal Building! ~~~ All members are encouraged to attend! Come review 2010 and learn about our 2011 goals. Memberships will be available, plus you can learn about our upcoming VEST Course!
 Hey Everyone! DPRR is holding a VEST course! Did you know that it is the law that all riders under the age of 18 have a state approved safety certificate? Not having one can land you a fine of almost $400!!! Here is your chance to participate in the VEST course and get your safety certificate for free!
If you want to take the course, please come to our registration on April 6, 2011 at the Sheffield Town Hall, 3210 Route 122, Sheffield, VT at 6:00 pm.
Class will be held at the same location on Saturday April 16, 2011. You must attend the registration in order to take the class and there is a limit of 15 students per class so please be there! For more info, contact the VASA office at 802-477-5075. Ride Safe, ride legal, have fun!
